ROBERT LOWELL OLSON

Robert Lowell Olson, age 50, of Coulterville, IL, formally a resident from Dodge Center, MN passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014 as a result of an accident.

Robert was born on October 31, 1963, in Spring Grove, MN, a son to Leland and Sharon Olson. On January 24, 1987, he married Bobbi Jo Puls in Irving, TX. Robert was a pipefitter with Local 15 for 23 years. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, BBQing and loved spending time with his granddaughters.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbi Jo Olson; two daughters, Samantha Jo Olson, Alexis Olson all of Coulterville, IL; mother, Sharon Olson of Spring Grove, MN; step-mother, Jan Olson of Dodge Center, MN; grandmother, Elvina Bratland of Spring Grove, MN, two brothers, Patrick (Lisa) Olson of Dodge Center, MN, David (Leah) Olson of Kasson, MN; two sisters, Sharyl Chicos of Spring Grove, MN and Brenda (Duke) York of Rochester MN; three grandchildren, Haylie Vuichard, Taylor Vuichard and Ariyah Jo Nelson and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Dad, Lee Olson, one step-sister, Marissa Munson, grandparents Glenn Bratland, Lenard and Rosella Olson.

Robert's wishes were to be cremated.  A visitation will be held at United Methodist Church, 20 1st Street NE in Dodge Center, MN on Saturday,  April 26, 2014, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. A  prayer service will take place at 7:00 ~ 7:30 p.m. with Reverend Dave Westlake officiating. The family invites you to the  Dodge Center American Legion afterwards.

Memorial donations may be made to the family of Robert Olson.  Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center assisted with arrangements.
