The funeral mass for Roger LeRoy Noterman will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Second Street NE in Hayfield, MN with Father Thomas Niehaus celebrating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2016, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Hayfield and one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday.
Roger LeRoy Noterman, 77, of Hayfield, MN passed away on September 8, 2016, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Mary's Campus in Rochester, MN.
Roger was born on January 14, 1939, the son of LeRoy and Verna (Weiss) Noterman in Pipestone, MN. He graduated from Hayfield High School. He served in the U.S. Marines. Roger was united in marriage to Ethel Sanderson on June 22, 1963, in Hayfield, MN. He worked at IBM 10 years prior to farming. Roger was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hayfield. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, auctions. Roger served as Fair Director in Dodge County for many years.
Roger is survived by his wife, Ethel Noterman, Hayfield, MN; and daughter, Michelle Noterman, Purcell, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Dianne Kubicek and JoAnn Eichmann.
