Ronald Dean Liudahl

Ronald (Ron) Dean Liudahl, age 88 years old, passed away after a battle with prostate cancer on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Prairie Meadows Senior Living in Kasson, MN.

Ron was born August 21st, 1936, on his family's farm, in Harmony, MN to Clarence and Ruth (Solseth) Liudahl. He went to a one room schoolhouse down the street from his home that is still standing to this day. He married Jacqueline (Jackie) Ingvoldstad of Decorah, Iowa on April 15th, 1961. They were married for 64 years. He worked at custom printing and Schmidt printing in Byron, MN before retiring. He loved spending time with family and friends. He loved getting together for the holidays.

Ron was a devoted father and grandfather that loved to go camping, hunting, and fishing with his family. He passed the love for those hobbies down to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved tractors especially his John Deere tractor that he would often give his grandchildren rides around the yard. He had a love for vehicles too and you would see him in a new one when he found another one he liked.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Clarence; two sisters, Iva and Ethel Jean; brother-in-law, Birgy Rolstad; and nephew, Steve Rolstad.

Ron is survived by his wife Jackie; sons, Randy (Sharon), Daniel (Wendy) and daughter, Jill; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
