RUTH DORIS CRACE

The funeral service for Ruth Doris Crace will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013, at the Evanger Lutheran Church, 33554 660th Avenue, Sargeant, MN with Reverend Dwight Dobell officiating.

Interment will be in Evanger Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.

Ruth Doris Crace, 95, passed away on June 26, 2013, at Three Links Reflections in Northfield, MN.
Ruth was born on September 7, 1917, the daughter of Ole Markus and Mary (Linbo) Hegna in rural Dodge County. She attended schools in rural Dodge County, Hayfield School and graduated from Austin High School. Ruth was united in marriage to James Robert Crace on January 1, 1938, in St. Ansgar, IA. She worked for Kahler Corporation for 28 years in the clothing center. Ruth retired in 1981.

Ruth was a member of Evanger Lutheran Church, Evanger Church Circle, and she enjoyed playing cards, Country Western and Old Time music, shopping, Casino's, dancing and enjoyed cooking for company.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Donna Bakken, Racine, MN; Beverly (Donald) Olson, Faribault, MN; daughter-in-law, Kathy Crace, Golden Valley, MN; 5 grandchildren, Andrew (friend, Michele) Olson; Darci (Mike) Hill; Shawn (Dixie) Bakken; Shannin (John) Renn; Jennifer Crace; 10 great grandchildren, Danika and Davis Hill; Mystic Olson; Austyn and Nakya Renn; Cody, Jackson, Brookelyn Bakken; Keegan and Ryan Crace; one sister, Fern Erath, Austin, MN and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Bonnie; and one son, Robert.
