SARAH “SALLY” ANN DAVIS

Sally (Sarah) Ann Davis, 78, Hayfield, MN passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Mayo Clinic St. Marys Campus in Rochester.

Sally was born in Windom, MN to Emil and Neoma (Daniels) Knuth.  In 1960 she graduated from Wilson High School in St. Paul, MN. After high school, she met and married Gerald (Jerry) Davis on June 11, 1966, and moved to Hayfield, MN where she lived for the rest of her life.  Sally worked as a printer/proofer for the Hayfield Herald and as a secretary for Citizens State Bank prior to retiring.  After retirement, Sally enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family, her daily coffee talks with friends, and travelling annually to her beloved Black Hills in South Dakota.

Sally is survived by her husband, Jerry Davis, Hayfield, MN; her children, Jonathan (Catherine) Davis, Rochester, MN; Peggy (Brady) Leitch, Kasson, MN; two grandchildren, Connor and Katrina, Rochester, MN; and her sister, Donna Miekle, Longwood, FL.  She was proceeded in death by her parents and one sister, Ellie Lee.

Due to the current health concerns, the memorial service will be at a later date.
