Sally Marie Pettitt

Sally Pettitt, 68, of North St. Paul, MN, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Our Lady of Peace Home in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Sally was born on May 21, 1951, the daughter of Lorenz and Luella (Johnson) Schieck. She graduated from Austin High School in 1969 and then attended Rochester Community and Technical College.

She was united in marriage to Randy Pettitt, her high school sweetheart, on September 11, 1971, in Rochester, MN.

Sally worked for Montgomery Ward in St. Paul, MN and then at Maurices Corporation in Duluth for 12 years. After returning to the Twin Cities, Sally worked with Pro Media Production in Roseville, MN and later at Home Instead as a home health aide. Sally loved spending time with family and friends and always remembered everyone’s birthdays and special occasions. Traveling around the world with her husband Randy, gardening, camping, and cheering for the Minnesota Twins were some of her many passions. Her beautiful smile, sense of humor and kindness will be missed by all who knew her. Sally had a precious heart.

Sally is survived by her husband, Randy Pettitt, North St. Paul, MN; siblings, Marcia Christensen, Rochester, MN; Mike (Lorinda) Schieck, Rochester, MN; Rita (George) Heydt, Hayfield, MN; and Dwight Schieck, Hayfield, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2019, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 801 7 ^th Street SE in Kasson, MN and with visitation one hour before the service at the funeral home.
