A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010, at South Zumbro Lutheran Church, 4830 120th Avenue SW, Kasson, MN with Reverend Mark Schwartz officiating and a visitation one hour before the service. There will be military honors by the Kasson American Legion.
Sharon Lavaine Dahle, 70, died on February 28, 2010, at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield, MN.
Sharon Lavaine Dahle was born on July 17, 1939, the daughter of Leon Edmund (Olga Annette Evjen) Dahle in Hayfield, MN. She graduated from Byron High School in 1957, and attended the University of Minnesota for one year. She worked at the Olmsted Bank in Rochester and entered the U.S. Army from 1959-1962, where she received her programmer training. Upon discharge she worked for the U.S. Government. She enjoyed crocheting, golf, playing cards, sailing and reading. Sharon moved to Rochester in 1993, and entered Field Crest Care Center on August 31, 2009.
Sharon is survived by four sisters, Darlene (Walter) Thompson, Winona, MN, Sandy Dean, Kasson, MN; Carol (Samuel) Parise, North Tonawanda, NY; and Mary Beth Harmon, Kasson, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, L Adolph Dahle and two nephews.
The family prefers memorials to Mayo Hospice or South Zumbro Lutheran Church. Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Hayfield is in charge of arrangements.
