Sharon Marie Kleist

Sharon Marie Kleist, 77, of Kasson, MN passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester, MN.

Sharon was born on January 2, 1944, in Rochester, MN to Theodore and Martha (Monroe) Annis.  She married Dan Kleist in 1981 and together they had two daughters, Kelly and Charla.  Sharon enjoyed playing word finds, watching crime shows on TV, animals, and spending time with her family.  She looked forward to her trips to Las Vegas and Colorado with her cousin Darlene.   Many kids have called her mom and grandma throughout the years.

Sharon is survived by her daughters, Kelly Mabrier and Charla Lynch; brother, Jim (Kathy) Annis; sisters, Janet Sanborn, Bev (Don) Hagedorn, and Diana (Bob) Rabe; grandchildren, Joshua Novak (Manda Freidl), Justin Annis (Rachel Parsons), James Novak (Josephine Archambault), Stephanie Kleist (Andrew Fonke), Allie Kleist (Marcus Hester); and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Martha Annis; husband, Dan Kleist; and brother-in-law, Howard Sanborn.
