Stacy Hynes, age 53, of San Francisco, California, passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2025. Born on March 14, 1972, to William “Bill” and Shirley Worden, Stacy was the eldest of three daughters.
Stacy was a mother-figure to so many. She impacted the hearts and lives of children as a passionate and loving nanny and teacher for nearly three decades. She carried with her enduring values of integrity, humility and hard work. She was smart, patient and kind. She taught children everything from the basics to the advanced; from reading and writing to math and science. But most importantly, she instilled in each child her non-negotiable values shaping who they are today. We are confident she is smiling down from heaven on each one, today and as they grow in the future, knowing she successfully passed on what matters most and made such a profoundly, positive impact on their lives. As a best friend to many, Stacy was the listener a young soul needed.
Stacy had a passion for food, the Minnesota Vikings, her cats, and nature. She was wicked sharp at games and incredibly talented at crafts. She deeply cared for those close to her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Bill and Shirley Worden. She is survived by her two sisters, Bridget (Peter) Hubbard of Sauk Centre, MN and Cassidy (Randy) Rieck of Hayfield, MN; along with dear friends and nieces, nephew, and children she nurtured and loved as her own who all hold a special place in their hearts for her.
Though her time with us was far too short, Stacy’s memory will live on in every one of those lives she touched so dearly. Our beloved Stacy, you were one of kind; truly a special gift from God. We love you and miss you.
A private family internment will be held at a later date. Blessed be her memory.
