STEPHANIE DAWN SHOLTZ
Stephanie Dawn Sholtz, 42, of Rochester, MN passed away in an automobile accident on January 28, 2017, in rural Dodge Center, Minnesota.
Stephanie Dawn Sholtz was born on March 19, 1974, the daughter of Louis and Nina (Skaggs) Sholtz in Oneida, New York.
Stephanie had worked for Advance Correctional Health Care; Blue Stem Counseling Center, and Willowmere Counseling Services. Stephanie devoted her life to helping others, both professionally and personally as a friend and counselor. Stephanie's deep skill in listening with discernment, wisdom, love and humor was relied on by many. She will be profoundly missed.
Stephanie is survived by her parents, Nina (Joseph) Karhnak and Louis (Ellie) Sholtz; sisters, Leticia (Walter) Wicks; Deborah (Dennis) Rod; brothers, Matthew (Lori) Karhnak; Timothy (Kayla) Karhnak; James Welch; maternal grandfather, Victor W. Skaggs; seven nieces and nephews; Christopher (Jen) Wicks; Nathan Wicks; Jake Wicks; Kate Wicks; Jessica Rod; Cassandra Rod; Nicodemus Rod; aunts, uncle, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2017, at the Seventh Day Baptist Church, 203 East Main Street in Dodge Center. The memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. at the church with Reverend William Shobe officiating. Family prefers memorials to the Seventh Day Baptist Women's Society.
