The funeral service for Steven Allen Beaver will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2014, at West St. Olaf Lutheran Church, 70640 ~ 260th Avenue, Hayfield, MN with Reverend Darby Lawrence officiating. Interment will be in West St. Olaf Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2014, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 501 2nd Street NW in Hayfield, MN and one hour before the service at the church on Friday.
Steven Allen Beaver, 58, died in a motor cycle accident on August 12, 2014, in rural Hayfield, MN.
Steven was born on May 10, 1956, the son of Robert and Joy (Peters) Beaver in Rochester, MN. Steven graduated from high school in 1974, and graduated from Vo-Tech in Austin and Duetz Tractor Mechanic Training in Iowa. He worked for Arnold Severson for one year and Vance Lee Harvesting until 1980, when he decided to farm with his father. Steven was currently working at Moody's Towing and Repair in Rochester. Steven enjoyed spending time with his daughters, farming, fixing cars, motor cycles, bowling, snowmobiling and riding his motor cycle. He was married to Roberta Reed on February 9, 1985, they were later divorced.
Steven is survived by his daughters, Meagan and (Nathan) Cole, Ostrander, MN; Rachel Beaver, and Cassie Beaver, both of Racine, MN; parents, Robert and Joy Beaver, Kasson, MN; sister, Jane (Peter) Estby, Stewartville, MN; brother, Todd (Denice) Beaver, Hayfield, MN; and sister, Cindy (Troy) Stoppel, Kasson, MN; nieces, nephews, great nephews, a great niece, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
