The memorial service for Suzane Marie Naylor will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2016, at the Hayfield American Legion in Hayfield. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the family.
Suzane "Susie" "Sissy" M. Naylor 47, of Waltham, MN, died on February 3, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle of cervical cancer.
Suzane Marie Phillips was born on October 24, 1968, the daughter of Ed and Maretta "Terry" (Cole) Clauson in Kansas City, Kansas. Susie graduated from Olathe Kansas High School. She worked as a waitress, nursing assistant and trained medication aid. On November 16, 1990, she was united in marriage to Brett Naylor. They made their home in the Waltham area. Susie enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, quilting, cross stitching, sewing and embroidering. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and attending bonfires with them. Her passion was being a grandmother to her grandchildren who call her "Grandma JoJo".
Susie is survived by her husband, Brett Naylor, Waltham, MN; children, Justina Naylor, Waltham, MN; Terra (Bryce) Goar, Stewartville, MN; William Naylor; Shayn Naylor; Kaytlynn (Christopher) Aker, all of Waltham, MN; grandchildren, Wyatt, Colt and Nathan; parents, Ed and Terry Clauson of Tonganoxie, KS; sister, Carrie (Kenny) Hinz, Gillette, WY; brother, Brian Phillips, Kansas City, Kansas; many nieces and nephews; and the Naylor Family. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kaylynn Clauson; and father-in-law, Allen Naylor. Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Hayfield assisted with arrangements.
