Tamara "Tami" M. Miller

Tamara “Tami” Marie Miller (Louks), 62, of Dodge Center, MN. passed away January 16, 2018 at her residence in Dodge Center. Tamara was born November 4, 1955 in Faribault, MN. to Arthur and Marian Heggedahl.

Tami was united in marriage to Kevin Louks in 1974 and they later divorced. In September, 2007 she married Jeremy Miller in Pine Island, MN. where they shared their home until moving to Dodge Center. They were divorced in 2016. Tami is survived by her four children, JoAnn (Corey) Johnston of Hayfield, MN., Nick (Erica Snyder) Louks of Wadena, MN, Lindsay (Jason) Saxton of Dodge Center, MN., and Daniel (Kayla Hansen) Vrieze of Kasson, MN.; her three sisters, Sharon (Dick) Harmer of Claremont, MN., Deb (Leif) Knecht of Northfield, MN., and Val Heggedahl of Colorado; and 11 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Art and Marian.

Tami was a religious Vikings fan. Anyone who knew her, knew she lived for the Vikings. “This will be the year” she always told her family and friends. Tami currently was employed by Hutton Drainage, Inc. in West Concord as office manager. She was very passionate about her gardening and flowers. She shared all of her produce with anyone nearby. She loved to cook and try new recipes all of the time. She would turn nothing into something of her own. Everyone enjoyed all of the treats and new foods that she would make. Most importantly, Tami adored her grandchildren. If she wasn’t talking about them, she was enjoying time with them. They gave her the sparkle you saw in her eyes.

Visitation will be Tuesday January 23, 2018 from 4-7 p.m at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home 25 South St. SW Dodge Center. Burial will be in Claremont Street Cemetery Claremont, MN.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
