TYLER THOMAS MUNDY
Tyler Thomas Mundy, 44, of Kasson, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at his home.
Tyler was born May 20, 1973, in Rochester to Larry Mundy and Linda (Thompson) Mundy. He was a 1991, graduate of Hayfield High School and went on to attend Winona State University and Riverland. Tyler worked as a machinist at PALS in Owatonna for 18 years before starting his own machine shop, Heavy Metal L.L.C. in Blooming Prairie. On February 8, 2008, he married Heather Dunn in Lake Geneva, WI. Tyler and Heather loved taking small trips on their motorcycles together. Tyler had a passion for music, beginning with a vocal scholarship at Winona State and carrying on to various bands throughout the years, such as Finderz Keeperz, G-Monkeys and Sunday mornings as part of the worship team at church. Vacationing in Florida and game night with his family were an important part of his life. He was a generous, fun loving, kind, devoted and selfless man with a strong faith in Christ.
Tyler is survived by his wife, Heather; children, Katelyn, Breanna and Caleb all of Kasson; mother, Linda (Dale) Ulve of Kasson; father, Larry (Carol) Mundy of Dodge Center; sister, Tiffani (Jason) Dover; nephews, Mack and Creeden of Rochester; step-brother, Jeff Ulve of Kasson; maternal grandmother, Marlyss Thompson of Hayfield and a host of other family and friends. Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Sam Thompson; paternal grandparents, Carol and Albert Mundy and by his uncle, Bruce Mundy.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Community Celebration Church, 27337 Co. Hwy. 34, Kasson. Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2017, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 501 2nd St. NW, Hayfield, MN 55940 and one hour prior to the service at the church. Pastor Steve Larson will be officiating and a private family interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Hayfield, MN.
