VIOLA LAMPLAND FRENCH

The memorial service for Viola French will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday December 19, 2010, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 501 2nd Street NW in Hayfield with Reverend Carol Schafer officiating. Interment will be in the spring at Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield, MN.
Viola French, 86, of Hayfield, died on December 14, 2010, at her daughter's home in Mantorville, MN.
Emma Viola Lampland was born February 28, 1924, in Hayfield, MN the daughter of Henry B. and Emma (Vers) Lampland. Viola was united in marriage to Richard Andrew French on January 8, 1944. Viola was a lifelong, active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hayfield, as well as serving as parish secretary for several years. Her volunteer activities were numerous in the Hayfield community.
Viola is survived by three daughters, Ruth French of Spokane, WA; Sharyn French, of Mantorville, MN; Evon French (Dennis) Miller, of Seneca, SC; four granddaughters, Jessica Borgan of Spokane, WA; Justina (Jon) Naylor Pardalis of Vienna, VA; Jamie Borgan of Spokane, WA; Robin Miller of Bozeman, MT and one great grandson, Dylan Eliot. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 infant brothers, Henry Charles and Harlan Keith Lampland.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Hayfield. Family prefers memorials to Season's Hospice or American Diabetes Association.
