VIRGINIA AMBER KELLER
The funeral service for Virginia Amber Keller will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at the First Presbyterian Church, 101 6th Avenue NW in Kasson, MN with Reverend Clint Patterson officiating. Interment will be in Rice Lake Cemetery in Claremont Township.
Virginia Amber Keller, 92, formerly of Mantorville, MN passed away on January 9, 2015, at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center.
Virginia was born October 2, 1922, the daughter of Simon and Bessie (Campbell) Schuster in Dodge County, MN. Virginia was a gift of joy and inspiration to everyone who knew her. The emotional imprint she left on all our hearts is profound. She graduated from Dodge Center High School. During high school she worked at Drew's General Store. Later she worked at the Triple A Office in Dodge Center. On March 5, 1942, she was united in marriage to Wilbur (Bud) Keller in Mantorville. They farmed in Dodge County until Bud's death in February 1, 1988.
Virginia was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Claremont for 32 years and was an Elder for three years. She moved to Mantorville and became a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Kasson. She was a board member for Rice Lake Cemetery since 1989.
Virginia is survived by one son, Myles and Carmen Keller, Mantorville, MN; one daughter-in-law, Cheryl Keller of Rochester, MN; five grandchildren, Trent and Sylvia Keller, Claremont, MN; Alicia Keller, Claremont, MN; Ben and Corrine Keller, Ramsey, MN; Renee Keller, Denver, CO; Maria and Stephen Lindahl, TX; six great-grandchildren, Tyler Keller; Tanner Keller; Grant Klancher; Gracelyn Keller; Tatum Lindahl; Samuel Lindahl; two great-great-granddaughters Madelyn and Alayna Keller; sister, Leona Osborn and many beloved nephews, nieces and step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Bud; one son, Gaylen Keller; parents; two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 25 South Street SW in Dodge Center and one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.
