The memorial service for Wayne Fred Boysen will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2016, at the First Presbyterian Church, 109 Main Street in Hayfield with Reverend Lincoln Engelbert officiating. Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield. Visitation will be 4:00 ~ 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 501 ~ 2nd Street NW in Hayfield and one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.
Wayne Fred Boysen, 89, of Hayfield, passed away on June 13, 2016, at Susie's Place in Hayfield.
Wayne was born on March 15, 1927, the son of Hans and Celia (Falk) in Dodge County, MN. Wayne graduated from Hayfield High School and was a farmer all of his life. He was married to his first wife, Cecelia Remington for 14 years and his second wife, Arlene Titrington for 44 years. He worked on the rail road, drove an egg route, worked at Crenlo for two years and seasonal work at Libby's. Wayne liked to pick and tease his friends and family and always had a joke or two. He enjoyed horses, playing dice with the Radke clan, western movies, Rodeo's, Stock Car Races, and taking naps in his recliner. He loved visiting with family and friends.
Wayne is survived by his children, Craig (Connie) Boysen, Rochester, MN; Cozy (Gary) Hoover, Farmington, IL; Steven "Sparkie" (Joyce Quast) Boysen, Ellsworth, WI; Tom (Robin) Radke, Dodge Center, MN; Paula (Mike) Hofstad, Pine Island, MN; Tim (Connie) Radke, Rosemont, MN; Kim Pribula, Bloomington, MN; 16 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters; and 2 wives. The family would like a special thank you to the staff at Susie's Place.
