Wesley Everett Grant

Wesley Everett Grant, 77, of Kasson, MN passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at his home.

Wesley was born on May 30, 1944, in Viola, MN to Grover and Evelyn (Thorp) Grant.  He attended Kasson-Mantorville high school.  He worked as a carpenter at Spitzack Lumber Yard in Owatonna, MN and at Fabricated Wood Products in Owatonna.   He later became a self-employed carpenter.   On December 7, 1962, he married Karen Howard in Claremont, MN and together they had four children.  Wesley enjoyed fishing, gardening, and going on drives.

Wesley is survived by his wife, Karen Grant of Kasson, MN; children, Diana (Richard) Munson of Andover, MN, Deanna (Gary McGonigal) Szuberski of Claremont, MN, and Donna Grant of Rapid City, SD; his pride and joy, granddaughter, Alexis Reichwein; sisters, Lorraine (Kenneth) Wittlief of Oronoco, MN and Eleanor Forney of Oronoco, MN; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dale Grant, James Grant, Donald Grant, and Norman Grant; sister, Darlene Johnson; and daughter, Deena Reichwein.

A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Homes, 801 7 ^th St SE in Kasson, MN. A private family service will follow with Pastor Roger Langworthy officiating.
